These are nice shorts for activities as they state… off the bike. Having moved away from padded bike liners, I added a pair to my boxer brief rotation to wear under my Elevenpine bike shorts during this years RAGBRAI 7 day ride. The day I wore these (day 5), I developed a raw chaffing spot where the seam is that became painful. I noticed compared to my other boxers, these had a more durable but thicker and rougher stitching seam. But off the bike, they perform well as exercise and compression boxers.
As an ultra runner, I am very picky with boxer briefs. They have to fit well, be very breathable (I live in Hotlanta, GA), provide support without being constricting, and chafe free. For that reason, i seldom buy shorts with built in liners. Until recently, i had only found one brand that really like. I discovered eleven pine thanks to elite ultra runner Maggie Guterl. I was intrigued and decided to give their MULTISPORT BOXER BRIEF a chance. I have taken them to the test other 3 medium to long runs and am extremely happy with how they perform. They might not be the best option for very hot and humid conditions, but will certainly be a go to option for cooler temps. I am hooked!
