Highly breathable, 4-way stretch fabric and elastic waistband provide superior comfort and generous fit in both the form-fit and relaxed fit modes. The shorts also have a velcro tab at the hem to dial in the fit best for aerodynamics. A drawstring can also help to further dial in fit if required.

United StatesSo sorry about that one review that was my fault. I will give this a 10 if you had it, but I will give it a five., Perfect fit great material. The shorts and shammy great thickness on shammy zippers are fantastic on the bike shorts gives you airflow. Liners are soft not rough on your skin. Will definitely keep buying mountain bike shorts and liners from Elevenpine. Best SteveWest.
United StatesI wore these shorts on the Great Divide bike route. The side zippers are great for ventilation, and temperature control between cool mornings and warm afternoons. The fabric held up well - grinding through miles on the bike, sitting on rocks and ground, and they dried out quickly. It was easy to wear liner shorts underneath these as well.
United StatesI really like these shorts and they are now my preferred MTB short. Have not worn another bike over-short since. I even rock climb and just hang out in them without bibs underneath. I’ve never used the zipper opening really to open them up….always the lean and mean fit is what I like. Minor gripes: I am not a fan of the elastic waist from a look standpoint as it gets bunched up if not stretched fully. Looks kind of dorky (just a personal vanity preference) but this is generally hidden under a loose shirt and has no real performance issue. I would prefer a wide waist band sewn into the waist instead or an adjustable button waist with hidden elastic bands. The hook and loop at the hem is not “Velcro brand” therefore its a bit lower quality and shows slight signs of fray where the loop material starts pulling out after multiple uses but it still holds plenty so minor gripe. What I like: Very lightweight!! Very breathable!! Great materials. Fit is great and is its highlight. The leg width at the quad just barely fits and if my quads are pumped or in thicker bid shorts then its almost too snug but that is just too variable by person to complain about. I love the look of the snug lycra-like leg opening that is not a lycra material. Super happy with the Uprising XR shorts! I never open the zipper to open the leg to a true baggie short which sort of makes me want this short to just be designed into the tighter fit permanently. I would likely buy multiple pair of such a design. I know this is contrary to ElevenPine's entire purpose but they landed on some brilliance here and I would recommend they lean into the great fit for at least one model. I have a few friends with the ElevenPine shorts and they also never open them up. Might as well make them even lighter and offer a model sans zipper!! (a minimalist model). Regardless, they are still lighter than any other MTB/Gravel short I have and I now prefer these over all others. Well done ElevenPine!
United StatesFit and comfort are awesome! But, sure wish you still made the original short I purchased preordered in Salida, when you were introducing them to the world for sale. Loved the fit and the color. Fabric used was so comfortable and has held up all these years. Just saying.
