Shorts are great! Only been able to wear them a couple of times, like other Eleven pines clothes they are comfortable.
I use my skirt over my chamois pants when on a longer bike ride. It is comfortable and fun to be able to kick it up to ride then I kick it down when off my bike in the coffee shop or grabbing a bite to eat. I also use it with my swim suit while out on the boat or when going to the pool. I ordered the extra large to make sure it was long enough for I am a 58 yo who likes the outdoors for fun. It is loose in the waist but I expected that for I wanted length. I am 5’6”/170 lbs and like the large in other eleven pine clothing.
I like wearing a skirt over my tights and chamois when I cycle. I feel more comfortable especially if my ride includes a meal or coffee stop. I also feel more comfortable in the bike shop before and after group rides. How about some more colors?
Thanks for the review, Suzan. I'll relay your message on more colors for the Kick It Up, that seems to be a common response lately. Keep on enjoying!
I purchased a liner a few years ago, really liked it (nice padding and the legs don't creep up) and wanted another one so when I saw the offer of a liner with the "kick-it-up" skirt I ordered them. I ordered the same size as the first liner and again, I loved the liner but the skirt was tight in the hips and just didn't feel good. I easily exchanged it for the next larger size which fits better in the hips but the waist is big. There is a drawstring that is in the middle of the band but all it does is bunch up the material, it doesn't cinch the waist; as long as I don't mind it loose and sitting on my hips it's OK but not a good design to me. Also, unless I tie a knot in the strings (maybe I'm supposed to?) the skirt does not stay "kicked-up", it works it's way down and will get caught and stuck over the bike seat and then I look like I don't know how to get off a bike; I have to "kick-it-up" at every stop. I've kept the skirt and I do wear it but I'm not completely sold on it and I wouldn't order another one.
Hi Julie - thanks for your review and honest feedback. We're of course always trying to improve our products and the skirt you have. We will relay this information to our design team so they can look to address for future models. We appreciate it.
I wear my skirt mostly when I road bike. I like that I can wear it over bike shorts or tights. I also wore it recently when I completed my first triathlon during the bike and run portion. I'm sure I had the cutest outfit out there!
Thanks for your review, Cynthia! So glad you're enjoying the Kickitup and congratulations on your first triathlon. That's super exciting. Cheers, Ryan at ELEVENPINE
