Next Sunday, January 24th* marks the first day in North America where a ski resort has opened up their terrain for lift-serviced fat biking. No this resort is not in our home state of Colorado, but instead it’s in the great midwestern city of Duluth, Minnesota. This city has been on our radar for a long time to ride in the summer, but it appears that they are becoming a year round biking destination.

Spirit Mountain offers lift served, winter, downhill mountain biking every Sunday from 10am - 4pm. Spirit is known for their amazing bike park during the summer and this addition should be well received by the thriving mountain bike community in the Duluth area.
